Keblin Mariano Ovalles Rosario

Originally from Bonao, a small town in the heart of the Dominican Republic, Keblin started showing his passion for music at the age of 5.

As a teenager, with the help of his father (himself a local DJ), he started producing urban music with his own equipment at home. By the age of 14, Keblin’s unique style started emerging as he composed, produced and performed several of his own early titles.

At the age of 15, he began to record and upload covers of songs by famous artists to YouTube. After several months he discovered ViralRepublic.com, an online talent contest. With a cover of Ozuna’s “Se Preparo”, he competed and won first place in the Dominican Republic. Viral Republic Records, a division of ViralRepublic.com, signed Keblin X to its label. His first song, Alza Tu Bandera (Raise your flag), was chosen as part of the soundrack SHINE, a movie of Forgiven Films, a division of GVN Releasing, which was released nationwide on October 5, 2018.
